What F46 Means
F46 means the display has lost signal communication with the main control board, even though the wash cycle itself may still be running normally.
Common Causes of F46
- Loose or damaged connector between the display and main board
- Failed display board
- Intermittent wiring fault in the harness
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Try a full power reset — if the display comes back and stays connected, this was likely a temporary glitch rather than a wiring or board fault.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Confirming whether the display board or the connection itself has failed requires testing continuity along the harness, which isn't something most owners have the tools for.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
