What LED-NR Means
LED-NR means the touch control panel isn't registering any button press — power, fan speed, or light — even though the hood otherwise has power.
Common Causes of LED-NR
- A temporary control-board glitch
- A failed touch-control panel
- A wiring fault between the panel and the control board
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Try a full power cycle at the breaker (wait a couple of minutes before restoring power) — a temporary control-board glitch sometimes clears this way.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If a power cycle doesn't clear it, distinguishing a failed touch panel from a wiring fault behind it requires testing most homeowners can't do safely.
- Opening the control panel housing on a built-in hood risks damaging the surrounding cabinetry or trim if you're not familiar with how it's mounted.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
