What F20 Means
F20 means the washer isn't heating water to the temperature the selected program calls for, so laundry can come out of a “hot” wash feeling cold.

- Failed heating element
- Failed heating relay on the control board
- Faulty water temperature sensor
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check that the hot-water line (on plumbed models) is actually supplying hot water at another tap in the house, since a household hot-water issue can look identical to a heater fault.

- Confirming whether the element, relay, or sensor is the true cause requires electrical testing on components wired into household power.
