What F10 Means
F10 means the washer's fill phase is taking far longer than expected, and the control board has timed out rather than let it continue indefinitely.
Common Causes of F10
- Partially closed water supply valve
- Clogged inlet filter screen where the hose connects to the machine
- Failed water inlet valve
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check that both hot and cold supply valves behind the machine are fully open — a partially closed valve is a common, easily-fixed cause of a slow fill.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Confirming whether the fault is a simple blocked filter screen or a failed valve requires opening the water connection, which risks a leak if not reassembled correctly.
