What F29 Means
F29 means the heating circuit never engaged at all during a cycle that called for it, distinct from F20's partial-heating fault.
Common Causes of F29
- Failed heating relay never energizing the element
- Blown thermal fuse on the heating circuit
- Failed control board output for the heating function

Note whether this happens on every program or only specific ones, since some quick-wash cycles intentionally skip heating — that distinction matters for diagnosis.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- A thermal fuse exists specifically as a safety cutoff, and bypassing or replacing it without addressing why it blew risks the same overheating condition happening again.
