What F35 Means
F35 means the door remains locked after a cycle completes and won't release, the reverse problem of F34.
Common Causes of F35
- Failed door lock solenoid not releasing
- Residual water in the drum preventing the safety unlock condition from being met
- Failed door lock control circuit on the board
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Wait a few minutes after the cycle ends — many machines have a safety delay before unlocking, especially if the drum still has residual water, and this isn't always an immediate fault.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Forcing a locked door open risks damaging the lock mechanism or the door itself, especially if the real cause is standing water the machine is correctly waiting to clear first.
