What F50 Means
F50 means the drive motor isn't responding correctly to the control board's commands, and the drum may not turn at all.

Listen for any motor sound (humming, clicking) when a cycle starts — complete silence versus a struggling motor sound helps narrow down whether it's the motor itself or its control circuit.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The drive motor and its control electronics are wired into high-current circuits, and testing them safely requires equipment and experience most owners don't have.
- Replacing the motor when the actual fault is the control board (or vice versa) is a costly, avoidable mistake without proper diagnosis.
