Common Causes of LED-NOISE
- A loose grease filter frame or grille vibrating at certain fan speeds
- A fan blade or motor mount that has worked loose
- Loose ducting connection vibrating against the housing
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check that the hood housing and any visible grille or filter frame are fully seated and not visibly loose, but don't open the fan housing itself.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Identifying which specific component is loose usually means running the fan at each speed while accessing the housing — not something safe to do without disconnecting power correctly first.
- A loose fan blade left unaddressed can progress to a bent blade or damaged motor mount, turning a simple tightening job into a parts replacement.
