What F2 Means
F2 means the touch-control indicator lights are pulsating irregularly, a sensor-strip symptom distinct from F1's calibration fault.
Common Causes of F2
- Grease or moisture interfering with the light sensor
- An object partially covering the control strip
- Failed sensor strip component
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Wipe the control area clean and dry, and check that no cookware or object is overlapping the control strip's edge.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Diagnosing whether this is a cleaning issue or a genuine sensor fault requires observing the fault after a proper cleaning, which a technician can assess more reliably.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
