🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check the condensate water container (on models that don't drain directly to plumbing) to see if it's full or improperly seated — that's a common, harmless trigger. Do not run the machine again if you find standing water elsewhere.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If emptying the condensate container doesn't resolve it, confirming a genuine leak versus a stuck float switch means inspecting sealed components inside the machine.
- Continuing to run the dryer while a real leak is present risks water damage to your floor.
- The float switch and its wiring sit near the condenser's water-handling components, making a careless inspection both a water and electrical risk.
