What F0 Means
F0 means the refrigerator's control board detected a recent power interruption long enough that it can't guarantee food inside stayed at a safe temperature the whole time.
Common Causes of F0
- A genuine power outage or a tripped breaker
- A loose plug or damaged power cord
- An intermittent connection at the outlet itself
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check the clock/display for an unset time (a common side effect of a power cut) and inspect anything in the freezer for signs of partial thawing and refreeze before deciding what's still safe to eat.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Confirming whether the interruption was brief or extended enough to matter for food safety isn't something the display alone can tell you with certainty.
- If the code recurs without any known outage, that points to a loose connection or cord fault that's worth having checked before it causes a real outage.
