What F02 Means
F02 points to a water intake problem — the washer isn't detecting an adequate fill within the expected time, most often because the supply is restricted somewhere before it reaches the drum.

- Partially closed supply valve
- Scale-clogged inlet screen
- Failed water inlet valve solenoid
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Confirm both hot and cold shutoff valves behind the washer are fully open, and check the mesh inlet screens where the fill hoses connect for mineral scale buildup.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Confirming whether a failing inlet valve solenoid is the cause, once the valves and screens check out fine, requires electrical testing inside the machine.
- Replacing the inlet valve unnecessarily when the real cause is scale buildup elsewhere means paying for a part that wasn't the problem.
- Accessing the inlet valve assembly means working with the water supply connections, which risks a leak if it isn't reconnected properly.
