What F1 Means
Miele's coffee machine instructions list F1 as an "internal fault", together with F2, F80 and F82. The remedy Miele gives is to switch the coffee machine off, wait about 1 hour, and switch it on again. If the code returns, Miele says to contact its service. The instructions do not name a particular sensor or heater for F1, so the code alone does not say which part is involved. Common Causes of F1

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Switch the coffee machine off, leave it off for about one hour, then switch it on again, which is the step Miele gives. If F1 returns, stop using the machine and call us. Do not open the housing or pull a built-in unit out of its cabinet.
