What F195 Means
F195 is a communication error between the roast-probe electronics and the rest of the control system — the food probe module itself has stopped answering. Miele’s documentation works through plugs and wiring first, then the roast-probe electronics, then the power electronics.
Common Causes of F195
- Plugs or wiring between the probe module and the main boards damaged
- Roast-probe electronics module failing
- Power electronics failing
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Unplug the food probe from its socket and try a cooking program that does not use it. If everything else runs normally, you have confirmed the problem is confined to the probe circuit rather than the oven as a whole.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Three different parts produce this one code, and Miele’s sequence exists because the cheapest of them — a plug that is not seated — is also the easiest to miss.
- The probe electronics is a separate small board inside the appliance, not something reachable through the probe socket.
- Replacing the power electronics on a hunch is the most expensive possible wrong answer to this code.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
