Miele Washer

Miele W1113

Model # W1113

The W1113 belongs to the first wave of Novotronic washers, and surviving examples are now thirty years old. Miele suspended these drums on coil springs with replaceable dampers, and it is those dampers – not the bearings – that go first. An owner who books a machine that has started banging on spin will often find the bearings are still sound and only the shock absorbers need changing, which is a much smaller job.

Key Features

  • Compact 24" front-loader from Miele's early Novotronic washer family
  • Rotary program selector with separate temperature control
  • Stainless drum and tub on a suspended spring-and-damper assembly
  • Internal heater allowing cold-fill operation

FAQ

Miele W1113 FAQ

Not necessarily. Worn shock absorbers let the drum swing far enough to hit the cabinet while the bearings are still fine. A technician can tell the two apart quickly.

For dampers, pumps, heaters and door seals, generally yes. These cabinets and drums were built to outlast several sets of wear parts.
