🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Unplug the roast probe from its jack in the cavity wall and try the cooking function again without it — if the fault clears, the probe or its cable is the issue, not the oven itself.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If unplugging the probe doesn't clear the fault, the jack itself inside the cavity wall may be corroded or damaged, which needs inspection to confirm.
- Confirming whether the probe, its cable, or the jack is at fault means testing each component individually rather than replacing all of them at once.
