Miele Washer

Miele PW5065

Model # PW5065

The PW5065 predates the PW 6000 range and is still working in a lot of small commercial laundries. The thing that distinguishes servicing one from servicing a domestic Miele is the contactor that switches the heater: at commercial cycle counts the contacts pit, and a machine that heats intermittently is usually pointing at that rather than at the element. It is a cheap part in a machine that is otherwise built like a tank.

FAQ

Miele PW5065 FAQ

On a commercial machine at this duty, a pitted heater contactor is more likely than a failed element, and it is a much smaller repair.

Physically often yes, but the electrical and water supply requirements are different from a domestic machine and need checking first.
