The T8823C is one of the last of Miele’s conventional condenser dryers before heat pump models took over the range, and it represents that technology at its most developed. Compared with a heat pump machine it dries faster and runs hotter, which suits households drying heavy items regularly. The trade-off is energy use, and it is worth knowing that a slow cycle on one of these is a problem, whereas on a heat pump dryer it may simply be the design.
