AutoOpen needs somewhere to open into, and on integrated machines like the G5175SCVi that is not guaranteed. We have attended several of these where the actuator was working perfectly but a tight worktop overhang or a proud cabinet panel stopped the door moving far enough to vent. The drying complaint is real, the part is not failing, and the fix is at the installation rather than in the machine.
